Ha, right, I suppose we do have to stick together. I know that there would probably be people that didn’t share my beliefs or would laugh them off. Mermaids are fine and all — also, wouldn’t it be mermen, if we were referring to ourselves? — but I don’t feel the same connection to them and fish, as I do to dragons. Particularly those in mythology. Not all dragons had big wings and breathed fire, you know — some, those that were thought of as spirits, lived primarily underwater.
